Andrea Marie is an international speaker and comedian.  She has performed at venues such as Comedy Works, The Denver Improv, Comedy Festivals in Boston, Chicago, World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas and produces her own show called Moms Unhinged.  She wrote a book about Facebook and is a mother of 2 boys giving her an endless source of material.

Nancy Norton Born the 4th of 3 Children, Norton is Hilarious, High Energy and interactive with audiences. Winner of both the Boston Comedy Festival (first woman to ever win it) and The Seattle International Comedy Competition. Nancy Norton is a Denver Comedy Legend who has been on the Comedy Works regular list since 1992.

Janae Burris  A “Pro” on the coveted regulars list at Comedy Works in Denver as well as the 2016 Comedy Works New Faces Champ and 2019 Just For Laughs New Face. She has opened for nationally touring comics Michael Che, Roy Wood Jr., Beth Stelling, Josh Blue and Gary Gulman to name a few.  Janae has been featured at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington Ind, Telluride Blues Fest and High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver as well as headlining at Ha Ha Harvest in Portland and Aspen Laugh Fest.

Stephanie McHugh Stephanie’s wit and charm has made her a regular in the Denver comedy scene for over 15 years. She was on Nick at Nite’s TV Show “America’s Funniest Mom” which won her praise from celebrity judge Rosanne Barr. Stephanie is currently part of the comedic trio MentalPause! that has performed at Comedy Works while laughing off the middle ages!

Zoe Rogers gets inspiration and sleep deprivation from her three awesome kids who make sure life is never dull or quiet. She has been featured on Nickmom.com, Disney Babble Up Late, Edinburgh Fringe, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and was recently chosen to MC and perform in the 2019 Gilda Gala.  She also produces the widely acclaimed Boulder Comedy Festival.

Lisa Lane is an overeducated goofball who finds the funny in the balancing act of parenting teenagers, becoming single at age 50, and navigating the chin hairs and wrinkles on her very own face. Most recently featured on the Netflix sensation How to Build a Sex Room and a tour of casinos in the American southwest, Lisa is a regular host, feature, and mother figure in the Colorado comedy scene [Denver Improv, Comedy Works, Boulder Theatre, Loonees, 3Es, the MLB All-Star Game 5K, 7450th Medical Officer Reserve Unit, American Legion Post 1260, Colorado Real Estate Finance Group, and a variety of shows for parents and educators]. She is the author of Teenagers Suck and Beyond Mama Bear, as well as an announcer and voiceover actor.

Here are some fun facts about her since she’s too busy to think of a cooler intro: 1.  She is a professional car DJ and drops only the hottest remixes of baby shark.  2. She is romantically attracted to excel spreadsheets.  3.  She’s a member of the comedy group, The Matriarchy. A group of 4 funny moms dedicated to paving the way for comedy in motherhood!  Ashley’s goal is to support those who need it and spread joy and laughter; because as her life’s too short to take yourself too seriously.

Christi Leigh Christi is a comedian and writer from Denver, CO. She has performed at comedy clubs across the U.S. including Comedy Works, The Improv, and 3E’s Comedy Club. She has performed at The Chief Festival in Trinidad, CO, and the Cow Town Comedy Festival in Greeley, CO. She has worked with many big names in comedy including Chris “Crazy Legs” Fonseca, Lynn Koplitz, Vanessa Fraction, Sam Tallent, and Brandt Tobler. She hosts a weekly open mic on Tuesdays at the Tavern on 26th Ave, and several monthly showcases around Colorado.

Donelle Prado is a highly sought-after Denver based stand-up comedian and corporate Emcee. She was spotlighted on the “Hot Tamales Live” comedy DVD  available nationwide and a regional finalist on Nick-at-Nite’s 2007 “Funniest Mom in America”. In 2021, Most recently, Donelle headlined shows at the 2023 Winter Park Comedy Festival and was named “Best of the Fest” in the 2023 Comedy Chateau Comedy Festival in Hollywood, California.

A recent empty-nester, she teaches water aerobics and tends to her cats.

She is co-producer of The Matriarchy Presents which is a monthly showcase featuring mostly mom comedians at Rise Comedy in Denver.  When she isn’t making the funnies, she is in the thick of raising her two daughters. Her patriarchal busting humor and her flugelhorn keeps her sane during the non-monotonous monotony of motherhood.

With a master’s degree in mediocrity, her unique childhood experiences with midwestern homeschool will leave you curious. Jené produces and hosts a monthly stand-up showcase at Ohm Brewing in Golden, Colorado for two years running, and has been featured in the Winter Park Comedy Festival and the Rise Comedy Festival. Since hitting the scene, she has shared the stage with comics such as Ryan Belleville, Christie Buchele and Josh Blue.

With a background as an occupational therapist, two-time Ironman finisher and six-time marathoner, she’s also the creator of the Real Nourished newsletter and the Real Fit podcast.

Rebecca Trejo is a Denver-based standup comedian with a style once described by Josh Blue as “slam poetry with punchlines.” Born in Venezuela, raised in Puerto Rico, Rebeca migrated to the mainland in 2014 to escape both communism and colonialism, so naturally she fled to…Louisiana. With an infectiously positive, playful energy, Rebeca’s comedy covers the realities of being an immigrant parent in America, her Latina identity, and grappling with the fact that we really just are humans paying bills in a flying rock. When she’s not keeping her kids from choking on chalk, Rebeca co-produces a stand-up showcase called The Matriarchy.

Stacy Pedersen has almost died several times, was raised by hippie parents, and has accidentally blown the button off her pants on more than one occasion. She recently won first place out of comedians in “Colorado’s Got Talent” and appears in many commercials. She is a national speaker and likes to speak to organizations of all types for the simple fact she gets to stay in hotels, and hotels have housekeepers.

She also suffers from terrible stage fright.

Stephanie Sprenger is a writer, producer, and podcaster living in Arvada with her tween and teen daughters. She produces Listen To Your Mother Boulder and co-hosts the Mother Plus Podcast, a show for main character moms who need more than just motherhood. She juggles these things with the amount of grace you’d expect from a single 45-year-old mom with ADHD.

Sunshine Holmes is goofy and lovable & completely irresponsible. She’s a mom, but somehow she gives the vibe of everyone’s weird auntie. Who knows what she’ll say next? Certainly not her. She’s been called the “Love Child of Betty White and Bill Nye”. Her prime objective in comedy and all of life is to “HAVE FUN!”

She can be seen at independently produced shows all over Chicagoland, including as a cast member of Menace to Sobriety, a standup show at The Lincoln Lodge with SNL alum Nora Dunn. She also performs regularly with the Bad Momz of Comedy (as seen on the Kelly Clarkson show).

Jan Slavin is a singer, actress and comedian who has performed at some of Chicago’s most popular venues including Laugh Factory, Zanies, Chicago Improv, Davenport’s, Metropolis and The Skokie Theatre. “Chicago Now” refers to Jan as a “rising, ageism fighting star” and her grandchildren refer to her as that “old lady who will give us whatever we want.”

Seattle Comedians

Monica Nevi is regularly touring nationally and internationally and can be seen performing in clubs, colleges, and theaters across the country. The Seattle-based comedian’s debut special “Big Stepdad Energy” (Helium Studios) released in October 2022, and was immediately voted top 50 specials of the year by We Own The Laughs magazine.

She has appeared on FOX’s nationally syndicated TV show ‘Laughs’ and ESPN’s Sports Center, as well as Seattle based television programs ‘New Day Northwest’ and ‘[the 206]’ Monica released her documentary series ’80 For 80′ on Amazon Prime Video this year where she hosts and interviews hilarious short episodes with people over the age of 80. It is available now on YouTube.

She debuted two albums in late 2020 within one month of each other. Her first standup album, Mostly Finger Guns followed by her debut comedic guided meditation Chill. Both went #1 on the comedy charts.
